Salt keeps things from rotting. It is common knowledge among seafaring folk, but some theatre makers also know. In An incomplete life, Wild Vlees successfully pickles their audience’s attention. This fascinating performance by Tamar Blom [NL, 1992] and Francesca Lazzeri [Italy, 1991] embraces mortality. What is the role of human life on earth? Why do we want to hold onto it at all cost? The serene An incomplete life tells us living is learning to disappear slowly. Grain by grain.

Previous performances by Wild Vlees include Body On/Off and When everything is human, the human is an entirely different thing, in which a man and a woman merge in a wave of plaster.

Wild Vlees is Francesca Lazzeri & Tamar Blom and producer Job Rietvelt. Francesca and Tamar graduated The Mime School at Amsterdam Academy of Theatre and Dance, where Job graduated as a producer in 2016. Wild Vlees makes raw, experimental and socially engaged theatre with a great sense of physicality.
