100 attempts to meet you by MOHA

During the 100 days Moha will start a project in collaboration with Veem House for Performance.
'In this project we will create a ‘new’ map of the neighborhood. Normally a map gives an insight into the selected area. It shows the streets, names, squares and buildings which seems to form the fundament of this place. But when you come closer, when you walk through the streets and stay for a moment, you’ll feel that there’s is something much more fundamental which forms the base of this area: the movements of the people who live and/or work or pass, their routine, the path they walk everyday. This is what makes the neighborhood and this is from this primary movement that people build the most intuitive map of their neighborhood.
With this project we’ll dive into the neighborhood to gain insight in the routines, movements, actions and scenes of daily life. We will discover the paths which cross each other invisibly, we’ll follow the people who take care for maintenance.'
More information about the project will follow...
Moha is an artistic collective, operating in the public space of Amsterdam for over five years. Moha is the Hungarian name for moss. It is a familiar living element that grows almost everywhere, on everything in any conditions even in the most unexpected places. We are specialized in developing art projects in which innovative forms of participation and cooperation go hand in hand with the artistic experiment.
